The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio isĀ designed as a lightweight, portable analogue tuning radio.Ā The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio is an ideal radio for the kitchen bench, out in the shed, a camping radio, or as an emergency radio to keep up to date during extreme weather events.Ā TheĀ Tecsun R-909 AM/FM Radio provides surprisingly good AM reception for such a small size.
The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio is optimised for reception on the FM band whilst also providing goodĀ AM and Shortwave reception. The use of a AN-100 Loop Antenna will significantly increase the performance of the Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio on the AM band, increasing AM performance to be comparable with the PL-600 or PL-660.
The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio provides good audio clarity and volume level, possibly the best for this class of radio with consideration to the radio and speaker size.Ā The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio is powered by 2 x AA cells (not included) and can also be powered by a 3V DC adaptor (also not included). Ā The Tecsun R-909 Ā AM/FM Radio provides extended listening duration whilst using AA batteries as the power source due to the radio utilising analogue tuning technology, consuming minimum power to operate. TheĀ Tecsun R-909 AM/FM Radio is very simple to use.

Just bought the tecsun r-909 lightweight radio world band receiver.Wow!! what a great radio, have played with it over the last 5 days and reception is clear and MW &FM is very easy to pick up .SW is a smorgasbord at night coming in loud & clear. Love the old analog style, if you are looking for a well built quality radio at a good price this is it.
