FDPPro Replacement Battery

Description

This is the genuine replacement battery for the FDP Pro UHF hand held transceiver, (battery model PB-558L). It is rated at 7.4 Volts 1600mAh, 11.48wh.

If using the desktop charger, the LED indicator will indicate RED for charging and GREEN for full charge. To allow the charger to provide a complete charge, it is recommended the radio is turned off when charging. This latest version utilises a USB C socket on the rear panel to facilitate charging, removing the necessity for charging in the cradle. This is more convenient for charging in a vehicle.

The battery simply clips into the body of the transceiver. The battery takes approxiately 4 hours to achieve full charge from flat.

Keep one of the batteries handy as a backup spare to ensure you are never without a working transceiver.

BATTERY NOTES:

Lithium ion batteries should never be completely discharged, as this may permananetly damage the recharging capability.

For long term storage, it is recommended the battery be fully charged before storage. It should be removed from the radio and stored separately.

If charging in a vehicle, do not allow the battery to charge unattended.
